These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the JAM (Jobs Around Me) mobile application and website (the "Service") operated by JAM LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
JAM is a technology platform that displays job postings submitted by independent third parties. JAM is not an employer, employment agency, staffing firm, recruiter, contractor, or representative of any business listed on the platform. We do not participate in any employment decisions.
You must be at least 16 years old to use JAM. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.
You may use JAM as an anonymous guest or sign in with a Google account. If you sign in, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You agree to provide accurate information when posting job listings.
Businesses posting jobs on JAM agree that:
Listings are active for 30 days from the date of posting and will automatically expire. JAM reserves the right to remove any listing at any time for any reason.
Job listing fees are as stated at the time of posting. During beta periods, listings may be offered free of charge. All fees are non-refundable. There are no automatic renewals — businesses must actively choose to repost expired listings.
JAM does not verify the accuracy of any job posting, the identity of any user or business, or the availability or legitimacy of any opportunity. All postings are provided "as is" and "as available." The "Verified" badge indicates that our team has reviewed the listing, but does not constitute a guarantee of any kind.
You agree not to:
Job seekers are solely responsible for independently verifying job details, conducting due diligence before applying to or meeting with any business, and protecting their personal safety. Any communication, transaction, interview, or dispute occurs solely between the job seeker and the business.
JAM may open third-party services including phone dialers, email clients, mapping applications, and web browsers. JAM is not responsible for the privacy practices, terms, or content of those services.
The JAM name, logo, app design, and all associated intellectual property are owned by JAM LLC. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our intellectual property without written permission. Job listing content is owned by the posting business.
JAM collects anonymized usage data to improve the Service and analyze labor market trends. By using the Service, you consent to this collection as described in our Privacy Policy.
By using JAM, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with contacting, meeting, applying to, or working with any business discovered through the platform.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JAM and its founders shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to personal injury, loss of income, fraud, or any damages arising from your use of the Service.
JAM is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
If you encounter a listing that is fraudulent, misleading, or violates these Terms, please use the Report button in the app or contact us directly. We will review all reports and take appropriate action.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Georgia.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
